Jack started his acting career in Durban performing on the community theatre circuit while studying Law at the University of Natal.  After graduating in 1993, he joined the Police Service and served for 9 years, all the while performing in several film, TV and stage productions.

He moved to Johannesburg in 2002 when he started work on Isidingo and has since performed in numerous other TV and film productions.

His popularity has expanded and continues to expand nationally and internationally. In 2008 he won the South African Film and TV Awards (SAFTA) People’s Choice of ‘Best Hero’ award and another SAFTA for Best Supporting Actor in 2009.

Jack currently serves as the Actors Representative for Isidingo and as Chairman of the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA).
